As I look back over previous blog posts, I realize I have been in a blogging slump. This happens a lot. I guess life just gets in the way. However, I do enjoy getting my thoughts out -- whether that means using a pen and paper, or using my fingers and computer keys.
Life has changed quite a bit since my last blog post. Our son Liam is fifteen months old now, and he is the the biggest blessing to our life! Liam has so much to say, everyday. He loves telling us about everything on his mind -- even if we can't understand him just yet.
As a family, we are also expecting our next addition in late October! It is exciting to know our family is growing, but it is still scary and unknown territory. Having one small child is one thing, but adding a second, even smaller, child to the mix is going to make things interesting.
In the pet department, we had recently grown to a family with three dogs, but a few months later realized that having the extra pet was just too much for our family at the moment. Maybe one day, when the kiddos are older and are less dependent, we can add to our fur-family. For now, though, two dogs is enough. :)
The only other new thing I can think of is that we have moved our family to my hometown and are serving in the ministry here now. I love being "home". I love the feeling of familiar surroundings. I enjoy getting to see family more. And I love that Liam is getting to spend time with family that he would not get to see otherwise.
Well, that just about gets everything up-to-date. I look forward to writing again soon, as I have so much on my mind and heart. Until then, take care!
